Poppies

Whitgift has commissioned the production of 251 poppies, in memory of the former students and teachers of Whitgift who lost their lives in the First World War. These poppies are on display at the Exhibition. If you wish to sponsor a poppy, or poppies, they are £30 each or £55 for two. When the Exhibition closes, there is the opportunity to keep the items you have sponsored, should you wish.

About the Artists: Damien Moy is self-taught. A farmer by profession, he takes his inspiration from the natural world. He specialises in flowers, and prefers to use recycled metals wherever possible. Damien’s partner, Jo Bryant, skilfully designs the poppies, painting and spraying them to produce the finished flowers.
